    Vince J. Rosato

San Leandro Unified School District is saddened to announce the passing of Board of Education President Vince J. Rosato. Mr. Rosato was a dedicated educator with a passion for public service.

“Vince cared about making a difference in public schools and that showed through his work both here in San Leandro, in Alameda County, and across the state,” said San Leandro Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Mike McLaughlin. “This is a huge loss for our district and we send our heartfelt condolences to his widow, Usha.”

In addition to serving as President of SLUSD’s Board of Education, Mr. Rosato was also the Treasurer of the Alameda County School Boards Association.
